Edible landscaping integrates food plants into ornamental designs. Blueberry bushes (4-season interest: flowers, fruit, fall color). Dwarf fruit trees (10-15 ft instead of 30). Espaliered apples along fences.
Raised beds: 12-18 inches deep, 4 ft wide (reachable from both sides), untreated cedar or composite. Fill with 60% topsoil, 30% compost, 10% perlite. Install drip irrigation before filling.
