Landscape Photography & Portfolio
Photographing your projects for portfolio, marketing, and client proposals. Before/after, details, and wide shots.
“A bad photo of a great landscape looks like a good landscape that a toddler photographed. Step it up. Your work deserves better.”
What you'll learn
The golden hours (first hour after sunrise, last hour before sunset) give the best landscape photos. Overcast days are second-best - even light, no harsh shadows. Avoid noon sun like it's a sales call. Shoot from a low angle to show depth and scale. Use a tripod for sharpness and consistency.
Before/after: mark the exact camera position for the 'after' shot. Use the same lens, height, and time of day. The stronger the 'before' (not just bad, but specifically bad - tired plants, bad lighting, uneven lawn), the more dramatic the transformation. Clients sign contracts based on before/after photos.
